Apple and tonka bean fritter (pan-fried)

The ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 150g flour
  • 1/2 chemical yeast
  • 12.5 cl milk
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon tonka bean powder
  • 1 egg
  • Frying oil


Get ready for a more than gourmet Mardi Gras!

To do this, you need :

  1. First, put the flour and yeast in a bowl. After making a well in the centre, pour in the egg yolk and mix with a whisk. Then gradually add the milk while continuing to mix gently.
  1. Then peel the apples and cut them into slices.

Arrange them in a dish and sprinkle with sugar.

  1. Heat a large frying pan on a low heat and pour in the frying oil. 

Dip the apple slices in the doughnut batter and dip them in the oil. Turn them over halfway through the cooking time and let them brown.

  1. Once cooked, place your apple fritters on paper towels.

Finally, sprinkle them with tonka beans and enjoy!
